This weekend was my grandfather’s birthday and it was beautiful. I feel so blessed to be able to have been there and for the occasion itself. Out of all the father figures in my life he is the one still here. His support, love, and encouragement to do the best I can in life have given me the drive to get to where I am today.

At 90 years old this man has lived well and still continues to learn, grow and expand his circle. Instead of the years making him reclusive and set in his ways his mind has opened. What an amazing example to have set for all of us whose lives he has touched.
